Smaggle feeds her new found makeup addiction online

I’m totally addicted to makeup at the moment and believe me, it’s a very new obsession. I was discussing my new found love with a friend recently and her face lit up like a freaking Christmas tree. ‘I LOVE makeup!’ She squealed and proceeded to reveal, therapy like, that she watches YouTube videos about make up application and reads beauty blogs to uncover the best in cult make up buys. Okay…
Naturally I headed to YouTube to see what all the fuss was about. Are you familiar with PixieWoo? These two charming English lasses give the best online make up tutorials and they are utterly adorable. On their recommendation I had to buy a Mac Brush kit from Ebay. Apparently, (insert toffy English accent) “make-up application is all in the brush.”
Through my research on YouTube I also found Raving Beauty cosmetics. It’s the weirdest little shop but they sell amazing pots of mineral makeup in a rainbow of crazy colours. I bought five different eye shadows for a grand total of $30 including postage. I also received an email from the owner thanking me for my business. The product is outstanding. I’ve done little else since they arrived except trowel my eyes with colour like a five year old that’s busted into her mother’s make-up bag. I think I need to watch the YouTube videos again.
My aforementioned psycho make-up friend also got me onto Coastal Scents. They sell giant palettes of 88 colours in warm as well as bright tones so you can really experiment with different make-up looks. After some sneaky research on the web I also discovered that there are many high end make up brands that repackage Coastal Scents products and sell them as their own. Naughty. At $18.95 for 88 colours and $12.50 international postage I can tell you who I’ll be buying my make up from. They also packaged the palette beautifully so that every dish of colour arrived intact.
