Smaggle does her yearly diary shopping at Notemaker

I’m a Moleskine enthusiast of the first degree. I’ve been buying the same pocket sized Moleskine diary for around six years. They are all lined up in year order on my bookshelf… because I’m weird. This year I went to a bookstore to select my 2011 Moleksine and it was a disaster. The diaries were scattered in a distressingly haphazard manner, most of them were in varying stages of shop stock wear and they weren’t even categorised. Shudder. Buying my diary every year is a spiritual experience for me and this bookstore totally destroyed my chi so I turned to the interwebs and found Notemaker.

It’s a seriously cute site that sells boutique notebooks, paper, pens and office supplies. I was able to quickly find the diary I needed (this year I upgraded to the larger version) and had a pleasant virtual wander through the store. I also found a delightful yellow Lamy pen to keep in my handbag and I stocked up on some Moleskine notebooks too.

The site is easy to use, they accept PayPal and the shipping was cheap and fast. Customer service was also prompt and polite. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. I may just buy my diary online every year…
