Super Kawaii Mama’s a straight shooter

What you keep inside your purse is just as important as the purse itself. I just don’t see the point in having a gorgeous handbag then filling it with all sorts of random rubbish.  After all, when you think about the myriad of amazing accessories out there, it only takes a little extra thought to make the contents of your bag just as impressive as what is on the outside.

Okay, that sounds like I’m trying to justify something to myself again… and that is because I probably am. I gave in and bought myself yet more perfume this week. Although I already have a draw filled with forgotten scents and current favourites, I stumbled across something so completely fabulous I just had to have them.

The Purse Bullet by Juliette Has a Gun.  These little silver bullets are refillable canisters specially designed for an array for custom perfumed oils, and perfect purse sized pleasures. Of course the whole ‘silver bullet’ thing won me over immediately so I was really hoping that the selection of fragrances available would be equally as tempting. I wasn’t wrong.

My choice of fragrance was Citizen Queen (might have been the hint the name gave me that it was my style). It has notes of Leather, Bulgarian rose, iris and amber; all guaranteed to last a minimum of twelve hours… oh so good! The fragrance is concentrated above 20%, so for those of you who are aficionados of great perfume you’ll understand that it isn’t easy to find these sorts of truly intense fragrances these days.

I picked up my choice over at Beauty Habit (who both ship internationally and take Paypal), where the purse bullet comes with 4 rechargeable vials.  But of course I had to get a full sized Eau De Parfum for the vanity as well.

I’ll bet Britney Spears doesn’t smell this good!
