Super Kawaii Mama finds everything is better with a cherry on top!

The quickest way to start feeling like summer in Australia is to start eating cherries. Red, ripe, juicy cherries; that grace almost every Christmas table in this country as we knock back the champagne and fight off the relatives.  But summer has been so slow coming this year; I decided to take matters into my own hands.

The very second I saw these shoes online I KNEW they had to be mine. I’m not sure that there has eve been another shoe invented that so perfectly says, “me”. (Mind you if there has, I’ll be hunting them down like a shark on a seal!) These are the Vivienne Westwood for Melissa range, and they have cherries on top! Be still my heart. Not only do I have a silly amount of paraphernalia already cherry themed, but I have never had quite the right shoes to work with it.  They are all either too casual, too formal or simply too red.  These are the perfect combination of sophistication, comfort and kitsch. WIN!

In fact, just to test out their versatility I paired them first with my new red skirt by Bettie Page Clothing and red striped top (both bought at Pinup Boutique), and then with my killer new denim capris from Bernie Dexter (OMG I can do denim!). And frankly, I think they are hotter than summer!
