Smaggle discovers Dodo Cases

Mr Smaggle has a deep-seated fear of looking like a wanker in public. It’s a valid fear because with his MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad and iPod on him at all times it’s obvious and slightly embarrassing how much of a product loyalty freak he is. In a bid to conceal a fraction of his dirty habit he ordered a Dodo Case.

Dodo Cases are handcrafted iPad covers designed to look like a Moleskine notebook. The iPad fits snugly into the carved bamboo base and the cover flips over to perfectly the conceal the iPad under it’s faux leather exterior. There’s also a black elastic strap to keep it all together.

As the Dodo Cases are hand made using traditional book binding techniques they take a few weeks to arrive but the company keeps you constantly in the loop with regular emails and updates. The cases are also available for Kindle readers for those tech savvy bookworms out there. Shipping to Australia is $25 but the company is in its infancy and they are working on re-pricing their international freight charges. You can choose from a variety of internal binding colours and you can pay with PayPal. Bonus.

Mr Smaggle is quite chuffed with his new toy. It’s well made, beautifully designed and perfectly disguises his filthy crush on Steve Jobs. They only need to make them for iPhones now…
