Top 10 – Weddings, Etsy style

Spring always brings out the romantic in us – and even if we’re not the blushing bride this time round we reserve the right to covet these wedding treasures – all found on Etsy!

For the uninitiated, Etsy is a community for designers and sellers from all over the world to sell their wares. Mainly focusing on handmade and vintage products, this is a fantastic place to find those special pieces you could never find in a store. We feel we should issue you a warning: Etsy is addictive!

  1. The Diamonds and Pearls Button Bouquet by Letters4lilly ($107.12). We are absolutely in love with this modern alternative to a classic floral bouquet. It’s made from vintage and new buttons, diamontes, hand made flowers and swarovski crystals, all supported by a satin petal collar. Perfect for a vintage feel wedding.
  2. We love an elegant birdcage veil, so we absolutely couldn’t have a piece on weddings without featuring one . The anya- feather fascinator and birdcage veil by tulet ($56.96 USD) is our pick. It’s so soft and elegant in champagne feathers and amber toned vintage rhinestone. Tres chic!
  3. Even a bride needs a place to stash her lippie, and we think this is a gorgeous option – All About a BOW Clutch Purse by Davie and Chiyo ($80.78). We love the champagne and ivory silk combination, and love the nice big bow!
  4. We are big fans of wedding keepsakes which are actually useful and think this is a great gift option. The little back flowers button mirror by Bebe Sniklefritz ($3.10 ea) is both both cute and functional. Love it!
  5. If you’re planning a colour theme in your bridal party or just want to inject a splash of colour to your procession, how about a bright silk ring bearer pillow? We like this one from VioGemini for $29. The range of colours on offer is great, and if you don’t see the colour you are after just send a request and they’ll try and find it for you.
  6. Here’s one for the lads – vintage typewriter key cufflinks from qacreate. Available in all letters and symbols, these are a great way for him to wear his heart on his sleeve. You can get a set for each groomsman for $258.85 (5 sets).
  7. We think Erin Leigh Heart might have a solution to the tricky task of dressing bridesmaids with different body types. Her Convertible Infinity Bridesmaid Wrap Dress is made of comfortable Jersey Satin, comes in five different colours and fits US sizes 2-14.
  8. Clever Bella Puzzles has come up with a very fun version of a guest wedding book – A puzzle guest book! Bella Puzzles will create a puzzle with a photo of your choice printed on one side and your guests can sign the other side.
  9. No elegant up-do is complete without some gorgeous earrings to frame your face, and in our opinion you can’t go past classic pearls. We love these drop style Akoya Pearl Earrings by Broadway Heirlooms.
  10. We mentioned you actually can get nearly everything you need for a wedding on Etsy, and we really did mean nearly everything. That includes the dress and this one is right out of a fairytale – The Ballerina Wedding Gown by Bridal Designs by Erin.
